My favorite foto for Wednesday is from Cambodia
This beautiful little horse is an Asian horse, native to Cambodia. Farm animals are an important part of the Khmer family and offer a means to make a living, as well as family transport when needed. The Asian horses is in decline, their numbers have dropped over the years, however efforts are now being made to save them. In a country where it is difficult to feed ones family as well as a farm animal or livestock, horses are sometimes not looked after as well as they could be.The Khmer family is unlikely to have money for a vet, when livestock become sick, even if a vet is available. Fortunately, this dainty horse looks well cared for, and his owner is obviously proud of the little beast.
